The Variator is a small, but very important tuning part in the automatic scooter world - the heart of each automatic scooter transmission. That's why when thinking of upgrading your scooter, the variator should be one of the first areas you focus on.

The biggest problem original variators have, is that most companies use this area as a way to cut manufacturing costs. Low cost and regulations also lead scooter makers to design the variator in a why that leads to performance breakdown in the mid range prm's - leaving you with a negative effect in torque and acceleration.

The Ruima Racing Variator corrects for the lack of performance you get from your stock variator. This variator features newly calculated slide paths, and a polished hard chrome surface leading to less performance loss and a more efficient transmission.

The Ruima Racing Variator comes complete with variator pulley, back plate and finned outside pulley. Please note that this variator doesn't come with any roller weights. It uses the same size as the stock variator (20x12mm). If you want different weight of rollers we have them that you can buy separately.
