Default kymco zx 50

HI i just purchased a brand new 2005 kymco zx50 red for $2076 at the local dealer and was wondering what can i do to make it faster.
And also i was wondering if there is any luggage carrier or hard bag that fits on the rear rack to fit helmet and other things in so wont get stolen, also it says to use 93 or 95 octane should i use it or go with 87 octane thanks.

the zx uses a honda dio like engine so you can make that bike really fast, 85mph plus if you want to spend the money on stroker kits. if you dont then go with a polini corsa bore, arrow pipe, 24mm carb, good intake, aftermarket clutch, and good front pulley, oh yeah and a set of 8 to 1 gears, that should be good for 65mph plus.

if your bike is stock you can run the lowest grade. your bike doesnt even rev enough to make use of anything good. only when you start modding then you will need high grade gas.

I would just get the Pipe/ Spring/Roller kit and then the taller gearing as they were talking about.... Most people over look this fact, that if your 200lbs or more, its alot harder for the scooter to move you, so in that case i would just leave you gearing stock, or if you live in a very hilly area...

on a honda engine dont forget a good front pulley. they really help on dio engines and the kymco zx uses a copy of the dio engine.
