Default How to find the year

This might come across as a newb question, but where is the date of manufacture located on these Razzes? On the motorcycles I own it is located on the frame near the triple tree on the VIN sticker. I didnt see that on this scooter... Sooo.... Where is the date on this thing located?

10th character- Identifies the model year. For example: 1988(J), 1989(K), 1990(L), 1991(M), 1992(N), 1993(P), 1994(R), 1995(S), 1996(T), 1997(V), 1998(W), 1999(X), 2000(Y)-

Looked all over for a alpha-numeric identifier on the faring, but couldn't find anything.

Did find this number under a small pop-out piece of plastic on the steering column:

JYA3EPAO81A265391

Any way to tell anything from there? And where the hell is the number you guys are talking about?

That's the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number). It contains information such as country where it was manufactured (1st three digits); when it was manufactured; the year it was made and the last digits contain the serial number.

Thanks. So how do I interpret the year out of that? Is it an 81? 91? Something else?

check here:

BTW; the letter "O" (oh) is not used in VINs; your VIN has a "0" (zero).
