Hey has anyone tried putting the 4 stroke Vino front shocks on a 2 stroke Vino? What would I need? Just the Shocks and bolt all my stock stuff on it like headset bearings and front wheel, brake?

Nobody huh? I would think this would be agreat upgrade as the new shocks are cheaper then a full front re-build or the aftermarket rear shock.

what makes you think that the 4t vino fork is any better?

It is a proper telecoping unit. The trailing link one on a 2T Vino sucks as it dives soo much under braking. Hell my old 88Jog is much better.

you can always add heavier shock oil before you spend all that money on a new fork

The two silly little coilover pogo sticks on a Vino are not serviceable. You almost have to bust them apart to get the spring off of them. Plus to replace these and the link that wear out that they are attached to along with the wheel would cost way more then the 4t unit. I was just wondering how much Yamaha changed the chassis if at all. If not then these should be an easy swap.
