I was curious is it possible to install a rear disc break on my 04 atlantis?

sure
all you need is a welder, and some way to machine a bracket.

The drum mechanism is machined or cast into the swingarm/Motor...you would have to be crafty...c'mon lets see pics.

for pics see the 125 racer thread as crazy scoot put a rear disc on his rear drum bike. basically the same thing.

Rrear drum is more than enough....still have stock pads after 20,000km and are 1/2 worn....locking up back end is no problem....more than enough braking power.....

and most braking is done with front brake....pads go after 10,000km

modifying the back rim and block...seems like too much work, although possible...if you like aluminum welding...harder job than steel...

however it now will add unnecessary troque load to engine casing....
