carbon leo vinci exhaust

I have a 2002 vino and last year I bought a leo vinci exhaust for it and now it is starting to rust and it looks all stained with brown marks that are in the metal. Does anyone know how I could clean it up?

I would say sand it all down nicely then get some high heat 1200F paint to coat ontop of it.

Yea..Most Leo owners High heat Paint theirs...Engine paint...stove black.
