I have configured this poll to record who voted for one. Hopefully this info can be used to compile an issue data base in which we can tell where people on here are having troubles installing certain parts on certain scooters. Example from looking at this we might be able to conclude, well a lot of people are having more trouble staging a Zuma with a Stage II kit than with a Vento, or Vino's are harder to derestrict than a Derbi. This can help Provo figure out better instruiction and way to order custom parts for the future.

I haven't done it yet but apparently the upgears require being pressed in and pressed out...
Have to enlist other tools from other places so that's the hardest...
However I feel when installing stage 1-3 at the same time... It's all 3 of the darn stages....

with some newer members, this should be brought back from the Archives.......
I originaly voted for time-travel mod, however, I am changing my answer to stroker.... "non-stage mod"

I've done the Stage One mod... well... actually I paid my Yamaha mech to do the install, but I was there with him through the entire process. With his extensive experience and a printout of Erich's How-To the whole thing went off without a hitch.
But... we also did the transmission venting that I described in another thread I started in the Vino Forum. As a precaution before doing all of the drilling he removed the kickstart assembly. The poor man spent a good 20 to 30 minutes getting the recoil spring reinstalled... and this with tools designed just for the task! One of them looked like a dentist's tool that they use during checkups. He finally got it together, but I could tell he was getting frustrated. My advise would be for anyone doing the venting to just leave the kickstart installed and drill carefully.
So at this point I'm going with a non-stage mod.

i havent done it yet, but i am thinking that puttin in a stroker crank in is the hardest because you have to machine your case, and take apart your whole moter and all...

Oversize disc brake was challenging, going LC was a bunch of work. I think tuning the carb and tranny and ignition with fats parts was/is the toughest. YOu can just beat your head on the wall for weeks while the bike leaves you stranded and eats parts. SO the toughest part is pushing the bike home 4 times in 6 months more than 3 miles each time.
