My friend's and I bought four of them and trashed them in less then four hours.

OMG, on the old boards we use to get so many of the Geely lamers on here, and man did I ever shoot the Geely's down. Finally I nearly got to a point of an ensuing flame war, over how Geely used plastic gears and a chain drive like a 10-speed bicycle. Oh, those Geely's were a nightmare, Matt stocked the Geely for a month and had a 90% return rate on them, most all with broken plastic gear teeth. Any case to make a long story short, Erich came on there blasting the Geely as well, for t he same reason and said something to the effect that it would be a cold day in hell before he'd support Geely products.

A Geely is a Cheap Scooter that Runs a Few times a Month All the time of Ownership you have to Just About Replace All the Parts with the Same Defective Parts that Don't Last a few Weeks, You have to Order just about every thing for them Bikes All the Time!

and Only have a Bike Life of 8 months

Matt carried Geely's for a month and gave up. Man we use to get a lot of Geely Geeks on here.Always asking how to fix them, and we already replied, you can't buy a Yamaha or a TNG.

Geely's are those scooters that look like Vinos but are sold over the Internet and at auto stores like Pep Boys, but they are a tad smaller. I like that their idea of a chain driven transmission consists of a bicycle chain with plastic gears! The Minerelli CVT transmission does so well that Ford and Toyota are using them in several new cars. Expect to see a lot more vehicles going to CVT in the future. (Popular Mechanics just did a big story on automotive CVT's.

I hope there using Good BELTS in those new CVT Cars or it wont be worth it at All i seen a Toyota Concept CVT Aluminum and Rubber belt all creamed in to one!! we will have to see :rolleyes:
