Was reading and saw some thing from Zuma88 saying he was running a HIGH compression cylinder at 13:1 or something like that...

here is the compression specs from my new cylinder...

- Combustion chamber completely-designed to obtain a high compression ratio (15.8:1) with a very high turbulence.

This is SICK... 15.8:1 is crazy!

Definately a premium octain cylinder!

anyone else know their compression ratio?

15.8 is awesome. with my new race cylinder should be just above that if I don't bore my head out.

15.8:1? Will you be able to get away with pump fuel?

I have been doing some research and if your compression ratio is to high it will give you a flat spot in your rpms.

with too high of a compresion, I would be more worried about pre-detonation instead of a flat spot

Correct. That is somthing that you could have to worrie about, expt MHR is made very well.

Yep. My stock cylinder 49.3cc (has been ported and polished) Has a cylinder compression ratio of 13.8.1.

You mmust have shaved the head down to get that high of compression on a stock 50cc case...

The compression ration I posted are of the stock MHR 70cc kit I ordered... Then the cylinder has been port and polished...

So this cylinder I got should ROCK!

A stock MHR 70cc gives that?

WOW!

)(ecks yea. I do i the cylinder work, welding , and so on my self.
I polished my cylinder ports so well that I don't think super glue would stick lol.

I run 90 octain (the highest in anchorage) already...

Depending on how it feels and such I will look at adding higher grade fuel but I should be okay....

REmember the stock set up is only like 8.something to 1.... do it's almost double the stock! WOW!

Maybe the crank is also in my future!

Not sure why I was thinking it was 8.2:1... oh well...

anyway... Can't wait to get it... I love alaska SNAIL MAIL!

So I guess you never got an MHR kit? Or did you just get the Corsa/r instead? O yea, my compression is up at like 12.8:1 with 11.5hp.
