I know lighter rollers is better acceleration, and heavier is better top end.

My powermax is out of oomph around 50mph, and thats fine with me. I am looking for 0-45mph FAST. So... My plans are to get red or yellow clutch springs. But thats all i know as of now.

Should I get a large torque spring?
What roller weights should i get?(I assume light ones for good acceleration, but will i loose any top end speed (50mph))
- I don't know the weight of my stock rollers.

So anyone who has some experience what do you recommend?

Try yellow torque driver (1500), stiffer. and 4g rollers. If it slightly revs out but stays in rev range, you're good to go otherwise lighter some more if you need better accel.

Currently using 3.5g and 1500 spring on triton, and it works a helluva lot better than the 4g which slows the revs after about 30mph.

But start at that and go down if you have to.

Since this post is in the 150cc section, I'm going to assume you have a 150cc, not a 50cc. Try 10g roller weights and the 1k or 1.5k torque spring. 1k clutch springs will get you more power off the line also.

Yes its for my GY6 150cc motor....

Any of you guys run different clutch springs?

The lightest rollers for the GY6 i can find is 8g?

You don't want to go any lighter than 8 grams on a gy6. 4 and 3.5 gram rollers are for 50 and 70cc 2t engines. Not a gy6 150cc.

Okay, well does anyone with a GY6 have a CVT set up to recommend for good acceleration?

My gy6 scooter is in transit, so I don't have any first hand exp. yet. But from the research I have done so far, 10-12g looks like range depending on scooter variables.

Alight, cool, let me know when you get it and what you find out...
