No this has nothing to do with stroking a Honda scooter with your hand, but it seems a lot of folks like the looks of the Metro, but hate the four stroke, so here's a novel idea, how about dropping a tu-stroker motor in to a Metro and have the best of both worlds. Neo-retro styling with the power of a tu-stroke motor.

it takes only about 3 hours to do that.

the biggest pain is the converting the wiring.

Only after removing the stock motor and water cooling system.

Good idea-maybe that's what people will do when they are forced to buy a 4 stroke Vino--thast new Vino sure looks alot like the Honda Metro

Yeah the new Vino does resemble it quite a bit.

Isn't it true that the restriction on 2-strokes is only on vehicles with 2-stroke engines? I believe that it will still be legal to buy 2-stroke engines so you could do this with future scoots.

I'm not sure I understand that? The emission laws are what is causing the slow phase out of two-stroke propulsion as means of power for motor scooters.
