Has anyone stuck a cupholder of some sort onto their vino? If so, what did you get and where did you get it from? I really want to be able to scoot to get coffee during work but I can't since there is no cupholder. I figure someone somewhere is gonna have a clip-on cupholder of some kind. Anyone???

Look at the 1st picture in Sooznd's garage. I installed a water bottle cage--had to cut off the top half & get a screw just a tad longer than the stock one. Works like a charm.

Also someone with a Honda Metro came up with this amzingly simple idea

The Honda there, that wouldn't look quite right for a lady to reach down like that.

Might've been before your time Jered, I think this was the big thread that Vinnie Reno, FreakyFranky13, Larry Anderson, James B and I got to something like 53 posts. And I can't recall how we concluded it. I know half of us were stumped since it was cold out and half of us wore ff helmets, so we couldn't drink from a cup any way!

I think we finished it with buying one of those cheap cup holders at Pep Boys and using 3M automotive adhesive to stick to the inside of the leg well but it's been so long, I'm not entirely sure.

I was playing with you....

I was around for that HUGE MEss last time...

I think I might have been one who brought up the whole FF problem of being able to drink... or at least I remember talking about it... cause I went on my rant about wearing a helmet and all...

But thats a different thread all in it's own...

After being around as long as I have been, it's hard to remember who is where when, anymore.

Hi Foosball :)

I just got my basket for my Vino from my Yamaha dealer and was surprised how easily it attached to the rack with zip ties. I think it would be a snap to ziptie some sort of cup holder onto the basket. Since the cupholder would be behind you you're not going to be able to drink from it while riding, but if all you want to do is transport a latte from the coffee shop to work it would be ideal. I'll try to set one up and let you know how it works out! ;)

I put a bicycle water bottle cage on the center post of my Vino. It has a rubber coating so I didn't have to cut anything off for it fit. I did have to bend the mounting plate on the cage a little.

P.S. I was missing the screw that went in the post , so I'm not sure that the stock one will work or not.

I wear a 3/4 helmet with a face shield & more than once I have picked up my water bottle to sip from only to smack my helmet with it. Duh LOL

Can't very well put hot coffee or a foamy latte into a Camel Back, can you? ;)

If anyone wants the bottle cage that I used for my Vino, I'll send it to you, if you pay the postage. (It's very light so postage should be minmal). I think I paid about $3 for it. I have already cut the top off and will throw in the longer screw I bought to attach it.

I installed a front inner basket, so no longer use it. It is aluminum and looks nice with the Vino's Chrome.
Just pm me if interested.
