Whenever I try to import one of my videos into Windows Movie Maker, so I can edit them, I get this:
The file C:\Documents and Settings\tcp\My Documents\My Pictures\Picture\yay\yay1\Picture 192.MOV is not a supported file type, and it cannot be imported into Windows Movie Maker.

My digicam's movies always load onto the computer as quicktime files. Does anybody know how I can make this work? I'd really like to be able to toy around with my own vids.

i don't really know anything about windows movie maker, but i am quite the computer nerd and a simple way to get stills is to play the movie, pause it where you want the still, then use a program like photoshop or paint shop pro to do a screen capture, and grab the image off of the video player..
