If I was to fabricate a way to put those electric superchargers onto the Zuma, would it work? I mean is there a way to have a small forced induction system?
Can we run 100 octane on these little suckers?

Some places sell boost boddles which are kinda like mini super-chargers. But I've never heard anything about other than they exsist.
As for the octane, 100 octane is useless. You can use it, but it wouldn't make a difference performance wise.

What he is talking about, the electric supercharger's are these fan things that you stick into the intake and it pushes XXX CFM.
My response was that on a stock set-up w/ a tecnigas R exhaust with the air box removed the scooter Craaawwwlllleeeedd because it was running lean. So then he said well what if we get bigger Carbs and jets, and then I said I don't know.
So then I thought of this new question: Can you have to much air and gas?
The biggest carb I found was a 28MM, so say you get some giant jet for this and a lot of air intake. It is all properly tuned, but can you have to much air and gas coming in at once???

I think if you get the big big carb and tune it richer in addition with the Supercharger you should be able to get it to work.
In addition I would think that 100 octane would at least a little difference on such a small motor. I mean if a technigas pipe gets me from 35-37(stock) to about 45MPH(T-R Pipe). You'd burn more efficiently. Maybe it's just my opinion.

DO NOT HIJACK THIS THREAD ABOUT FUEL AND OCTANE RATINGS PLEASE- CLICK ON THIS LINK FOR THAT CONVERSATION (http://www.provoscooter.com/vbull/showthread.php?t=613)

cant super charge a 2-stroke it has been tried but thousands and if you did becuase its a 2-stroke it would cuase the motor to run bad if at.
im going to try to turbo charge a four stroke eite ill let you now what happens

Ok number one, I started this thread so how am I hijacking my own thread. The question is if there is a way to make an electric supercharger work on a Zuma/50cc motor. To make things work like that in part you WILL have to talk about fuel. Peeps need to chill out. I asked two questions in this thread anyhow, so there was no hijacking to begin with.

Peeps need to chill out?
THAT INCLUDES YOU!
I was saying that if this thread was going to turn into if 100 octane is worth using and so on then we already have a thread for that. I was trying to keep it on track about the supercharging info and not have it turn into 8 pages of octane ratings, compression ratios and all the other fuel debate things as all the other fuel debate threads have in the past.
This is the internet and it is hard to "see" the way I was saying it- words on a page can't really convey what a person is trying to say and how they are saying it. I might have came across wrong, I did not mean to and for that I apologize.

Ok that's cool I just took the caps lock as you screaming so that is why I replied the way I did.
On topic...
I was searching the net and **REMOVED** 2-stroke nitro cars have super chargers so why wouldn't it be able to supercharge a 50cc 2-stroke. I mean you'd be tapping the electrical obviously to make it work. And if there's more air being pumped in then you pump more gas theoretically. That's the way it works with cars.

More gas and more air, means you need a better spark. So you slap on a better ignition and you're set.

let me get this strait when you riding down the road your going to use you super human speed to change jets when the super chager kits in.
you would have to, if you are agoing to use a super chager you will have to run such a huge jet that the motor couldn't handle it way to rich.
rember the bigger the jet the richer it jets.

ok how many jets are there on the carb? 2? One for WOT and idle? Swap the idle one to leaner one and the WOT to a richer jet, and you should be fine. Unless the jetting is different on these carbs?
