Does anyone have any suggestions for where to start to modify my bv 250 or how hard it is to find performance parts to do so?

I love that it hits 80 mph with no problem but I often scoot on the highway with cars moving around the same and would like to get a little more punch out of it just to be safe.

Thanks in advanced for any tips! Oh and if this should be moved to another forum I am sorry, I'm new.

Cheers!

I think 80mph should be plenty for you, theres stuff for 125-150cc bikes, but I'm not sure about 250. I bet they have exhausts somewhere, and that should help get you a couple more hp. Then upjet and open filter will help out too if tuned right.

Thanks!

That was what I was thinking - exhausts.

I just want a few more hp, I'm not too greedy.

This forum is great - I'm glad that I found it.

Thanks again!

Cheers!

exhaust really dont do too much on 4strokes, you would have to do motor mods and tranny mods to get more speed out of your bike. try looking on a euro forum and talk to those guys to see what you can do to your bike.
