i was thinking of trying to add a rear cowl/tire hugger/fender to my 02 zuma with michelin boppers. later maybe a front fender. i have seen the following models with the same tire sizes and cowls that i liked:

pgo pmx 50
pgo hotbiomax 50
peugeot tkr 50
kymco topboy 50 (front fender)
hyosung sf 50 rally
hyosung sf 50 racing
big daelim
daelim a four
daelim e-five (got a price of about 20 bucks with shipping for this one in pic)

has anyone done this before i try it? i'm not particularly good at this stuff so i figured i would ask advice first. thanks

i can tell you any Vento or vento clone rear fender will not work. I got one sitting here right now. I dont think there are any yamahas with horizontal minarelli's that have one. You'll either need to buy the Keisler one (like 80 + euro shipping) or get the 5$ Vento one and fab a mounting bracket for it.

FWIW, the ones in your pics look just like the Vento ones, so I wouldnt waste your money. They are only 4$ at the vento website if you wanna experiment.

the vento one does look very similar and a lot cheaper, but it is a 12" wheel. would that still fit snug on my 10" wheel with boppers?

oops i meant above that i CAN tell you it wont mount nor will any vento clone. it will fit snug, plus its plastic so u can just heat it up and rebend it a lil tighter if you want. Biggest obstacle is how to mount it. You'd have to drill the tranny case for a mounting point and use metal bars or something to attach to the cover.

The kiesler one will also not mount without some modification to the case and the mount that comes with the kiesler mud guard. If you're interested in getting one I can post up pictures of what you need to do to make it fit.
