Im confused? about Models?

MOTOR-DRIVEN CYCLES
MOTORIZED BICYCLES
MOTORCYCLE

My old Scooter was a Motor-driven cycles

NOTE: You may not operate a motor-driven cycle on a freeway if signs are posted to prohibit motor-driven cycle Operation..

I look at the VIN PLATE and saw TYPE: Motorcycle

Now the freeways should only apply to Motor-driven cycles

Any help

I don't understand why the Model Types change...
LOOK under your bikes for the VIN plate and Post your TYPE: ONLY! thanks...

don't matter its the motor. if king vino you can delete this if you need to but.
i know a few people that get scooters that look older or are small that have 125motors and so on and pass them as scooters.

but by the law anything including my stock 49.3cc honda elite is considerd a motorcycle.

horse power and cc's matter by the law.

my elite stock was 6.2 hp and did 46mph and under the law that is consider a motorcycle

No problem

It depends on the state. EVERY state has different laws. What applies and is defined as the law in Texas may not be the law in Cali or Ohio. Every state has different laws on the books as how to define a scooter, a moped, a motorcycle. How many times does this need to be stated?
