I have 2001 Vino and I just found out that it has a Teikei carb on it. I wanted to rejet but i can't find jets for this carb. I checked at Yamaha and they did did their best to find it but they could not. Does anyone know where to get these jets? What year did Yamaha switch to Mikuni? I ordered Mikuni jet and they are not even close to fitting. Has anyone else had this prolbem?

I also own the 01 Vino.
When I took my carb off I noticed it was not the stock carb. I don't know what kind it is though. I know it is closer to the carb on a 04 Zuma though.
The stock number on it is almost I dentical to the "5PN1171-A060" 04 Zuma.

I don't have the number off of my carb currently but I can can get it if your intrested.
I to want to re-jet and know theres lots of posts on here with jet info.
Try to search for them.
Good Luck,
Let me know what you find.

If you can't find bigger jets... make em! Take a drill to the lil ******* my good ol papi always used to say. Heres some measurements....

#72 drill = .0250" = .635mm = #64 Jet
#71 drill = .0260" = .660mm = #66 Jet
#70 drill = .0280" = .711mm = #71 Jet
#69 drill = .0292" = .742mm = #74 Jet
#68 drill = .0310" = .787mm = #79 Jet

Found it on another forum.

Cool, thankyou for the info. That is what i am going to have to do. I need to to get some drill bits for jetting and i wanted to get a replacement stock jet just incase I make a mistake. I was just wondering if this carb is common?
Thanks again
