i don't like it. i have had it on 2 bikes and hated on all. as Provo says it dose slow your top end down.

if you want a cheap exhuast the tecnigas R is better if you want a good exhaust the polini EVO or Malossi MHR, if you want the best ever it is the JollyMoto carbon 70.

Zuma 88?

Of these exhausts you mention, how do they rate? Polini ? Malossi ?

I'm looking to do some mods but am unsure if I should buy the stage kits. Or just buy some seperate parts. I also don't want to make my exhaust real loud.
????????????????????????

the jollymoto carbon is the best, the evo,and mhr are close to each other

also you can get more speed out of buying your own parts instead of the stage kits, like the polini evo cylinder, or the malossi mhr cylinder, any of the 3 exhausts jollymoto, mhr, evo. with the bigger carb 21mm,and intake manifold, and right transmission parts, ive heard on these forums you'd be going about 70 atleast compared to 55-60 with the stage kits.

if you want performance its going to be loud.

i would rate on a scal of 1-10 the malossi mhr a 7.5 and the polini EVO and 8.0
the jollymoto carbon 70 is 9.5.

i give the MHR alittle less becuase it works really good only when it is put with a dual ring race cylinder such as MHR 70cc kit.

polini EVO exhuast work alittle better with other 70cc kits and so on then the MHR but not that much of a diff.

jollymoto exhuast gives HUGE increases when i say HUGE i mean on three of the bikes i tested it on i saw a min of 11mph increase in speed, and more off the like power then the leo vince ZX and the Tecnigas Next R and RS,
the exhuast is almost perfect. if they made it it chrome i would give it a 9.8 to 10. ther a still many exhuast out ther but I and also thousands of other people agree the JollyMoto carbon 70 is the best exhuast EVER made.

it out perfrom's Malossi's MHR, Polinis EVO, Giannelli Shot 70 (wtich is giannelli's best exhuast.), MetraKit's pro race 70 (also the best exhuast made from metrakit.), also the Tecnigas Racing 70 (the best exhuast made by Tecnigas). these exhuat have been test on differnt bike's and the reslalts where the same the JollyMoto blow's the others away. the only exhaust i have not test and that i have never herd being tested against are Arrow exhuast.

its a okay pipe about the same as the EVO and MHR.

I really don't like the way it sounds, there are good sounding pipes and then ther are chain saw pipes, I hate that chain saw sound.

Too bad the jolly moto pipe is about $200 more than the tecnigas pipes. But your right, it's the best of the best.

I am going to start another thread about bang for the buck: which pipe is the best for the $$$.

Pipe 1 can be the best but if I can be close with pipe 2 for $200 less than that would be nice to know.

Zuma88

Vraag: Do you sell your pipe for an American Yamaha Zuma? It is called a BWS where you are located I think...

I am looking at this setup and heard you have the best pipe for it:

MHR 25mm Carb
MHR Reed Cage
MHR 70cc kit
MHR over range (entire tranny)
MHR Crankshaft

What are my choices and price? I might try to get a group buy together and order a few- any discounts?

THANKS!

This is why I started another thread and poll-

Let's say Jolly Moto is the best- is it really worth close to $500 once you add in shipping?

I mean if you are a racing spending $1K to get a 1/10 of a second faster in the 1/4 mile is a bargain and things like that but for the average rider it is not going to make that much difference.

A 1/10 of a second for me can be depending on if I ate yet or not...

Not worth the extra $200-$300 over some of the other pipes out there IMHO.

it is worth every dime is good enuff for 12 people i know that after testing my demo verson they waited 3 month them, 3 months becuase at the time dekker was going through ther parts.

jollymoto exhuast gives HUGE increases when i say HUGE i mean on three of the bikes i tested it on i saw a min of 11mph increase in speed,...........

That is total increase correct? Not 11 MPH over what the other pipes were giving you?

I am more on this line of thought-

Pipe A gives me 8 MPH for $180

vs

Pipe B gives me 11 MPH for $500

I think I can give up 3 MPH for $320. Some can't and won't and that is fine. Some such as me are willing to do 54 instead of 57 and still have 3 bones in my pocket.

Do you have the data on the pipes- not all 200 but say 10 of them. Send it to me and I will post it or you can- some thing like this is what I am asking for:

Pipe A crome 8 MPH $180
Pipe B carbon 11 MPH $500
Pipe C blue finish 9 MPH $220
Pipe D 7 MPH $315

and so on...

That way we have the info and decide how much speed is worth what price to us.

As always some pipes work better with some setups and so on- so using the same setup with different pipes is what I am asking for....

rember you get what you pay for :)
also

with the other exhuast expt for MHR you lose low end.

marylandmark
11-17-2004, 09:31 AM
I agree you get what you pay for, however I am willing to give up a few MPH for a few hundred bucks.

So should I take that as a no- you don't have any data on the pipes?

11-17-2004, 07:29 PM
yeah i'd like some info as well... i'd like to buy a really nice pipe, i don't mind spending a little extra, but i agree, it's not worth 2-300 bucks for a couple extra mph. though i would like to not lose the low end as well... you said that with the mhr pipe you don't? which pipe exactly is that, and around how much is it? also is there anywhere to get a jollymoto pipe for 350 usd?

Be a real man, and just strap a rocket to the back end of it. Like 200 hundred or so of those Ester's model rocket motors. Rooooooocccckkkkkkkeeeeeetttttt ssssccccoooooootttttttttteeeeerrrrrr gggooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!

BTW: I changed the title of the thread simply because we've talked about everything but the pipe in question the RS/Next R pipes.
