busted throttle cable

i got a busted throttle cable in my vespa 150 VBB. i have the replacement parts for it but my books don't anything about replacing it. does anyone outthere know how to fix it?

it should be as simply as finding the path of the old cable and running the new one right behind it...

I replaced the cable on my zuma and I pulled the headlight panel off and ran it allong the old one... when I got the new one in place and verified it worked fine... I then pull the old one out.
