I just degoverned my Vino and it is great it only took me about 2 hours including cleaning up all the tools ect. I got this Vino at the end of 2001 right before the 2002 model came out and sadly it has sat most of its life it only has like a 175 miles on it which brings me to the question, should I have degoverened it yet? Should I put the governer back on till break in is complete, I think it is aroud 300 miles? I don't think the derestricted exaust will hurt it will it because I can't put that piece back now. I just wanted to say that the only reason this mod went so easy for me, was beacuse of this website and all of it wonderfull information. I have never touced a motorcycle or a scooter before and after reading for a while on this website I had no prolbems at all.

Thankyou PROVOSCOOTER and EVERYONE that posts :) :)

Derestricting is only making the Vino operate within the parameters of the original design. Only the N. American model is sold restricted as so it would pass as a moped in many states.

Thanks, I was thinking that only in the USA do we get vehicles that are handicapped from the factory.

I am saving my money as we speak. I also really want to get a Zuma for myself beacuse the Vino is really my wife's but now that I have seen what these scooter can do I have to get one of my own. I have a goped i'm going to sell it is pretty cool also it goes just about 40 mph but it is just to loud like a couple blocks away loud.
