I cleaned carb and got new plug. the plug the dealer gave me was not extended tip. Does that matter? Air box good.

yes... and no...

to tell you need to basically pull the head off and make sure it's at minimum as long as the hole... if it's inside the hole when screwed all the way in, then it will foul up and not fire correctly....

Yeah, it had extended. I really think it's something with carb. Ran perfect then just ran only on coke, now you hit throttle and it dies. Took carb off and didn't see anything. Still does it. might need new carb.

probably not, take it apart and open it up and see whats going on in there.

"new carbs"... I doubt... unless something is actually broken off of the carb... IE: stripped jets threads, chipped or gaping passage way etc...

I would be willing to bet the float is stuck down or partly down and it's flooding the motor...

i would have to second that float idea. that and / or plugged air box.

Took it all apart already. I will take apart again and double check. Thanks for all the help.

Assuming it's not the carb, it could be a big air leak somewhere.

Took carb apart. Clean as a whistle. New plug. Same results. Really went to extremes on carb adjustments and now runs alot better. What are the normal carb settings? Thanks again for the help.
