45700B20T000 (A.B.S 1 $11.25)
45653B20T000 (WASHER 2 $1.38)

i allready tried frankie @ ***some store****
where i got the scooter from, and the parts should be covered by warentee.
but its been over a month now, and frankie is still waiting for the parts.

im frustrated and getting impatient, i need my front brakes in working order asap, even if it means paying for the parts that are probably still covered.

any help would be great. thanks.

Go to http://www.vento.com/pub/usa/moto_login.asp?zone=EUA and order the part yourself. If they have the parts in stock they will send them directly to you. You will have to create an account, but it is easy to do. In the meantime, why don't you just bypass that ABS unit???? You might be able to bolt the brake line directly to the brake caliper. The R3 does not have the ABS unit and the brake line bolts directly to the caliper. If the banjo bolt is not the right length, go to a local motorcycle shop and see if they have one. You don't need that ABS unit on there anyway and I have my doubts that it does anything useful. As for the washers, go a hardware store and get a washer. Those washers are not special. Just be sure you get the right size so that your fluid does not leak.

because i dont know how.

i took off the abs, it wont bolt right on there.
took off the part the abs bolts onto, and it wont bolt directly to that, not the right size.
i have no clue how to set it up, if somoene could post a pic of the front brake for the zip without the ABS i am willing to try it, but otherwise, im just going to wait till the proper parts get here.

im not going to rig something up without knowing for sure... i dont feel like getting thrown from my scooter at 45 mph.

found a pic of the zip.

definitly different, but im not sure exactly how different.

on the r3i, the flange bolt that holds the hose and fitting to the abs box is a different size.
the bolt is too small, and if i go any bigger it wont fit into the fitting on the end of the hose, which also looks different.
at the very least, its bent on the zip r3i, and straight on the zip.

If the banjo bolt is not the same size as the threading in the caliper, it won't work - ever. I'll check my buddie's R3i to see if I can tell if the ABS can be bypassed with existing parts. You're right, you don't want to rig the brakes. That would be stupid. However, 99% of motorcycles and scooters work fine without a little ABS valve. You'd have to get a good connection with the caliper and bleed the brakes. By bleeding them out and getting good lever pressure, you'd know the brakes were properly functioning. Good luck.

ok, i emailed ventodirect the day i was told to in this thread.
didnt get a reply.
i sent a followup email about a week later.
didnt get a reply.

whats up with these places?!
can they get me the part i need or what?

frankie put the order in with vento, and was (probably still is) waiting for the part from them. but they havnt told him anything, and in turn frankie couldnt tell me more than i allready know.

someone should tell vento and vento direct that ignoring customers isnt cool.

Sounds like Vento is as bad as Geely with parts. I set my hopes too high hoping that Vento might be better organized than that. TN'G and Geely are bloody nightmares to get parts for I learned at YMC.

well to be fair to vento itself, i wasnt ordering through them.
i was going through ventodirect and qualityscooters4less

but last night i put a parts request in at vento.com and hopefully they will give me a reply soon, if not im just going to find some way to hook the brake cable up without the abs.
all i need is a metal tube slightly larger than the hole in the abs, and i could put that in place of the abs... it might just work.
if not, i will hit up the rental & repair shop on the beach.
they rent out and sell scoots that look like my zip, but without the muffler and all the fancy stickers.
they also rent out ones that look like the triton and phantom.

its just kind of far from the house, and i dont have my license.
so i try to avoid going down the beach.

That's a bit of a stretch from the Dragster. I like the ItaliJet more than this thing.

they came through for me were as the company that i perchased my scooter
from gave me the shaft dont buy anything from someotherstorecom tim the owner screwed me over!!!!!!!! the scoot i perchased from him had no oil in the diff and when i put the oil in after 300 miles of driving on it the seal for the diff was burnt allowing oil to pass into the clutch assy. bad news all around but sorry to hear vinto direct jerked you around its getting tough to find good costomer service like we get from provo!!!!
