I'm just wondering what some of the major differences are between these two bikes. They have the same MSRP and look alike to me. They also seem to have the same type of mods available. I would like a second bike and I would like to know all your opinions.

they make a rally Lc wtich would be better.

i like the way the aprilla rides. here are the pro's to the rally 50: high stance, nice dash layout, a load of mods, brakes are stonger then zuma's, little more leg room, and a good seat for long rides.

now the Con's not many aprilla dealers in the US, Parts for the Lc motor are more money then zuma parts, the head lights are 4x as hard to change as a 2002-2005 zuma.

Aprila's command a high cost. I'm grateful to have a dealer less than an hour away, and like their sport bikes, and their super scooters. If you can get an Aprilia for the same price as the Zuma go for it, they usually sell over MSRP.

I just found out that Piaggio just bought out Aprilia so this will probably pave the way for more access to dealers and parts. As for me I live a few blocks from an Aprilia dealer so the next bike I buy will probably be from them.

Aprilia is a pretty established name in high performance crotch rockets and racing, so I would assume that Piggy grabbed Aprilia for the motorcycle end of things. Can't see them needing the scooter side since they already own two and have major holdings in several others. I'd hate to see Aprilia scooters go, but I can't see Piggy keeping them.
