For a good bit of time after James B left the old forums, I was the only mod. Not too long after we went live with the new forums we slowly added a few more mods on her. Now we have five moderators on here. I've learned over the years of being an admin/global mod/mod of various boards as well as working on Elise's anime board is that mods who are volunteers just as paid employees at work seldom ever get the acknowledgment they deserve.
Over the past month or two I've had numerous PM's email and ever posts in threads. (Going on 3 month thread is a nice example) from members who thank the mods for their service. I was pretty touched by seeing this, because on all the boards I've been on, I've never seen so much praise for a moderation team. So you guys should pat yourselves on the back (but don't let it go to your head :) )
I know over the past few weeks, the moderation team has had a few challenges with a sudden influx of new members, and we all thank you for keeping your cool through this time. You guys seldom ever hear a lot of the commetns I get in PM, but I'd thought I'd take the time to give you guys, Lennox, Jered, Marylandmark, and m3ster something mods seldomly ever hear, Thank you. Th community appreicarted al lthe hard work you do to make Provoscooter.com | Forums a great community to be part of.
Erich, the big boss is pleased with all your hard work. I'm going to quote a little something that Erich one told me in an email, and I don't think he'll mind this all too much, or so I hope not. I quote him too often I think sometimes, but I think he'd approve of this one: I value your participation in the forums and appreciate the time you (the moderation teama spend to make this a better board. I’m glad it isn’t like most of the automotive forums I frequent, which are just a pain to read sometimes with someone shouting at someone else. Our board is totally G rated compared to some of them, and I suppose it is in a general sense as well.
Keep up the good work guys, everyone on here really appreciates the hard work you all do on here.
