I had a Vento Triton R4 that was stolen a while back _-_-_- and I finally have enough $$ saved up to buy another scoot. It seems that I can no longer buy a Vento due to them not meeting EPA regs??
I was told by numerous Vento dealers that the Strada line is the exact same scooter...is this true? I really liked my Vento Triton and I'd hate to buy something that looks the same but the quality isn't there.
I was looking at the Strada RX8 or RX8i as these seem to be the closest to the Vento Triton. Are these good scoots or is there another brand/model you would suggest?
I need 50cc so that I don't have to have a license or insurance (that's the whole reason I ride scoots, my car insurance was $2600/yr, so I sold it). I live in the mtns, so top speed needs to be decent so that I can actually keep moving when going up hills.
