Can anybody point me to a source (other than Yamaha) for replacement drive belts. My Vino is new but I figure it would be a good idea to have a spare belt in the garage. I have heard that you can get belts with a kevlar centre for longer wear....

Any help would be appreciated

I'm going to bump this thread up, but also ask a question.

Longer wear from a belt with a Kevlar center? Ok, but the stock belt is good for 10000 miles, and I've been told the bike only makes it to about 30000 or so, so that's only 2 belts in addition to the one that comes standard on the bike.

I must ask...

Why even bother? Seems like alot of trouble to me to save one belt change.

I've heard kevlar belts don't stretch as much and hence give a slightly snappier acceleration in addition to a longer life. I can't speak to this though.

Didn't realize the belt would last that long ....great info. I still may get a spare though. Thanks
