so my venice was stolen in front of my place when i got laxed about locking it up. this was actually a blessing in disguise as i had outgrown the 50cc and really wanted something more powerful. so i ordered the tn'g milano 150cc.

i'm a little worried because i did have some problems with my venice and i've heard of people having a lot of problems with the lowboy. the mechanic even said that on earlier models they had lots of problems with the milanos. i'm hoping any flaws have been worked out. anyone recently buy one? how is it holding up?

I got a Milano in April, and I love it. I've got 1500 miles on it. I've had some minor problems... first time I changed the oil the drain plug would not come out, and ended up breaking, and after a couple of months the right turn signal wouldn't stay on. Both were fixed under warranty. It's got great take off power, and will cruise right up to 50 with no problem. I have zero problems getting around town with it, and feel very comfortable in traffic. I'm getting high 60's low 70's for gas mileage.

If your TNG dealer is good to work with, you will have no problems. Some of the TNG dealers aren't very helpful & no diddly about scooters (same as many of the powersports dealers). Also many former dealers no longer sell the TNG--so as long as your dealer is knowledgeable & has good service --you should be fine with the Milano --it is a very fine looking scooot.

I just got a Milano 150 in yellow. I needed something to go between my apartment and school; parking restraints were too much of an issue for a car. The scooter is great as I can park anywhere on campus for free, and within a reasonable distance from any of my classes. This is my first scooter, but I have several years experience ridding motorcycles.

My only complaints at this point in time are: dim headlight (18w bulb can be upgraded to a 35watt for 8 bucks), under seat will not store a 3/4 helmet, rear blinkers are dim and hard for other drivers to see in the day, the yellow paint attracts bees (got stung two days ago while sitting at a stoplight).

This weekend I will attempt my first oil change, so I hope everything goes well.

Good luck, and let us know if you get one.

Where did you get the 35 watt bulb, is it something the dealer has or an auto parts store? That's crazy about the yellow and bees, I was thinking yellow, but went with the green (iced emerald, I think).

I am not sure where to get the 35 watt bulb, I am not even sure what size to look for. It will be an aftermarket part, so a Tn'G dealer will not help.
