I was looking online and saw this scooter for sale. Granted you need a motorcycle license to ride it...

It's kinda banged up, but only on the outside...Here It Is (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=6722&item=2496943016&rd=1)

I also saw something called an Urban Sport... made by Boss/TANK, it's a 50cc scooter and sort-of looks like a zuma on crack. It's sold for 700 bucks brand new... Also.. i've heard you guys make fun of Geely scoots... they look almost exacly like Vinos... do they have the same motor??? or are they basically a b*stard son of the scooter gods?

I've looked into Aprilia a lot. They seem to be very nice scooters. They sell 50cc bikes starting at $1799 and their 150cc bikes go up to $4000. A bit on the pricey side for the bigger ones if you ask me. If money was no object, I would own an Aprilia aside from my Bajaj. I'll get one one day.

Aprillia manufactures brilliant bikes, they are right up their with piaggio. I have a mojito custom 150, and it is a thing of beauty. You won't be disappionted if you get an aprillia, espaecially the scarabeo 150 that you were lookin at. I have never heard anything bad about that scoot. It is plenty fast, can hit the mid 60's right out the door and if thats not fast enough they have plenty of performance parts for them to. Exhaust, 190cc kits, ect.

I haven't heard anything bad about any Aprilia scooters either. If you have the chance to get one I don't believe you will be disappointed.

I really like Aprilia scooters. On a side note, this thread was moved to the proper forum. For some reason, I'm spending more and more time moving threads around than anything else, so this is a genial reminder till I made a sticky reminding members to please post in the proper forum.

I just bought a Scarabeo 150, after having a Vino 125. The Scarabeo is great, better ride, higher cruising speed, larger gas tank over twice the range & about the same mpg so far (only on the 2nd tank). the only problem so far is locating a side stand, it doesn't come stock with one & unable to find one in the USA. If anyone knows of a Canadian dealer that will ship to the USA, an e-mail would be appreciated.

Thanks

I've tried every dealer I could locate & Aprilia.com, scooter-attack (Germany), bikeworld (Ireland) Has bags, windshield etc, Scotopia has parts but not complete kits & won't sell them due to previous orders, list goes on......

Do you know of a place to get one ?

I just bought a 2001 Aprilia Scarabeo 150 and it has been great so far! It is powerful, fast and has a classic look. I got a great deal from some guy I found in the classifieds. I've read that they are very reliable machines. I'm happy
