My boy in the 3rdD with the MPD, (DC Metropolitan Police) report that scooter thefts are down 20% this year. On a sad note (or a high note for scooterists) Pocket Bike thefts are up about 140% over this time last year. Sadly to balance this scooter sales are down, (YMC, N. Am) but pocket bike sales have gone up. I suspect the short lived scootering fad is nearing the end, which is good for those of us who are in to scootering for the long run.
