Problems with Stage 1 install 2001 Zuma

I bought the leo Vinci pipe and the Malossi variator and the new clutch spring kit with the kevlar belt. The scoot will start but it won't move. What gives? Eric said it is the clutch spring. What does that mean? HELP!

it means that the clutch springs are probably either are keeping the clutch from spreading out... Due to them being to tight for your set up

or... but I'd think it wouldn't start this way... they are to loose and the clutch enguages all the time....


Change them to the other set you have and see how they work...

Are we talking about the little springs. Change them back to the original ones. That was a complete pain in the ass! Or are we talking about the big spring.

So I replaced the springs with the other springs that were originally in there and at least the scooter moved but not more than 20 mph. I also had to rev it pretty good before it moved. I think Eric is going to mail me some middle of the road springs.
