Hey folks,

I'm a Vino 50cc owner who just picked up a 125 yesterday.
My 50cc was destricted, had a technigas pipe and rejetted so it was pretty quick off the line.
That's the main thing I'm missing from the stock 125.

I'm considering ordering the POP exhaust and/or the POP pulley kit soon and had a few questions for those of you who already have one:

1) How LOUD is the POP or NCY pipe? My technigas on my 50 was nice and loud.. I called the sound "The Angry Lawnmower" :jesta:

I like it LOUD because of the extra safety factor.. I'm already noticing that less drivers & cyclists are aware of my 125's presence during my ride back from the dealership!

2) On a 4-stroke engine.. how does the pulley kit & exhaust effect my performance? I'm mostly looking for more 'off the line' since my old modded 50 was pretty decent or maybe it was just loud so it felt faster (?) :) :)

Thanks in advance for any advice you guys may have!!

Pipe is a throatier sound. Like a four stroke trail bike. Pulleys will give you a better takeoff but will be noticed more in mid-range area. If you lighten the weights you can get a better take-off but top end will suffer. Four and 2 stroke are 2 different breeds of engine. 2-stroke relies on air expansion, while a four relies of better flow and backpressure.

Thanks Sorrow.. that clears it up quite a bit!

Even if the POP exhaust is throatier, I hope it's as LOUD as the one I have on the Vino 50cc.

I've been cut off sooo many times... cabs, buses, cars, trucks, bicycles, pedestrians, cats. Ok maybe not cats. :)

Whisper quiet is nice for the neighbours but I prefer every single thing on the road to hear my approach, be it vehicle, mammal, or vegetable. :D o_o
