Yesterday my throttle cable broke, so I needed to get a new one. Today I got a new one and put it in. I put my carb back together and I started my scooter up. The carb was stuck at WOT. The throttle had no play in it either. When I take the carb apart the throttle moves and compresses the spring exactly how it is supposed to. Anybody have any ideas? Thanks.

Okay, I figured it out. The slide was not sliding. Now the idle is running really high. I adjusted the idle screw and no matter where the screw is it runs really high. Any ideas?

Lug Nut Needs Adjusting

your Cable Wire may be Long or Bent some where on the Line.

some time the line Moves around sometime or have not been Put back right?

Try touching the Line to see if it will Speed Down a Bit

I had the same Problems ,Make shure that theres OIL on the Slide

Hope this Helps :)

try lubing the cable.

make sure carb throte/body is clean

check for kinks in the cable.

From what I can tell the only idle adjustment is in the cable itself. It sound like you are messing with mixture screws? Be carefull! you don't want to lean it out to much!
