Hi. New to the forum here, and am enjoying the Burgman. The 400 was used, only $4700, and less than 500 miles. Have put over 600 miles on this past 3 weeks. Love it. 50+ mpg, will cruise at 80 mph forever, and can hold 2 full faced helmets. Joined my brother (Honda CBR600RR) for a ride, and the underseat storage swallowed both of our full faced helmets, our gloves, a full sized bath towel (it was 97 degrees out, so we needed to dry our faces) an extra pair of sneakers, two baseball hats, and some bottled water (20 oz)x2.
I have looked at the BV for 2 reasons: One, it has an extra 75cc, and I have seen a 2006 for $5499 at Kissell Motorsports in State College, PA. Second, it looks damn stylish for a scoot. Has anyone on the forum driven both? I also noticed the promo that Piaggio is doing for new scoot purchases, and am really trying hard not to reach for the checkbook (again). Can anyone help a poor scooter newbie that is not sure if he made a good purchase with the Burgman (it has been a completely trouble free 600+ miles, BTW)...I really love the Burgman, but something about that Italian styling is tugging at my heart and purse strings. HELP!!!
