wouldn't a foot powered one be a bicycle?

No because bicycles don't have a walk through frame. Though I seem to recall those old push scooters that had the hand brakes and inflatable 6" wheels, but I think the Razer ones replaced those now with the little roller blade wheels and the ABEC bearings.

actually I just did a report on bicycles...

1400's leonardo whatever his name was, "dreamed of a bike and drew one"

1820's the first bike was made... NO PEDALS.... It was pushed with your feet to make it go....

However that was a long long time ago....

So... Yes... when I was in 2nd grade... 19 years ago... the came out with those "scooters" that had 10" wheels on them and a skid tape covered platform in the middle... With hand brakes...

I got one... they were the SH*T when they came out!

yeah, I wrecked my face into the street on one because it high centered on a curb when I was about 8 or 9....just one of many meetings I had with the ground :mad:
