I was wondering if it is possible to get a speedometer installed that will tell you your speeds past 40 mph, since that is the top number listed on the stock speedometer. That way when my scooter has more speed capabilities, it can register the true speed I am going rather than what I have to guess at. For example, if I install the Michelin S1 tires, evidently it registers my scooter as going slower than I really am since the tire radius is bigger. I'd like to know how fast I really AM going.

you'd have a couple of options....

I have seen some stock replacements... however they are in KPH not MPH....

So you'd have to convert klicks to miles...

Also, you can buy a "bicycle" speedo and install it... just make sure you get one that will go as small as the tire... Not the best but will work

You can buy a GPS and design a mount for it... THE MOST ACCURATE YOU CAN GET....

That's about the extent of it... Sorry...
