I know its a wierd thing to ask about but I need a temp sensor for my bike and I know that some guys use old VW temp sensors on AC bikes. If anyone has one they would like to get rid of please PM me I would love to take it off your hands. I know Jered and Lennox have some old VW's sitting around.

Ok, I was able to get a Koso gauge today and find a sensor for it to go under the sparkplug. I should have it by Wednesday and I'll see how it looks.

The optimal running temps are from 50-60°C which is between 120-140°F. The highest on a AC I would go is 70°C or 160°F.

Thats the big difference between having a bike that was LC stock and converted. Pinky, Juan and others run their bikes at 170-190 degrees. Mine runs at about 150-160 (cooler bc i have my radiator in front of the bike). All those temps are way higher than what the Euros spec. When you gauge yours, good luck at 160 degrees at the head. I bet it will be over 200.

We'll I got the gauge on over the weekend and got some runs in. It runs at 170 wot and while running it I have never broken 190. As expected when the bike get turned off the temps go up but it only went up past 195 once while cooling down. I'm surprised at how cool it actually does run and now I plan on just touching up the cylinder tomorrow with a dremel since I have some room to bump up power and temps.

Nope. I run 93 and I havent had any problems. Now that I start pushing it more and more I might have to start running Cam2 but thats no biggie.
