lurching scoot?

so here's one.
i've noticed and have some customers that describe
a 'weird, only sometimes condition' that when at a stop you give the scoot some gas and it will lurch foward like you gave it 3/4 throttle or something. seems to me that it happens after going down hill at a fairly good speed then coming to a stop. then when you take off again you get the lurch.

i'm thinking that the rollers are still on the ramp and haven't returned to the lowest / resting position.
is that whats going on?

I think you answered your own question.... or it could be flat spots on the rollers

I checked my rollers last week and found the brass centers of the rollers had come adrift so the rollers were slightly wider than they were supposed to be and were sticking in the guides. So in the future i'm only going to buy Malossi rollers as the Polini ones wear super fast (softer plastic) and the RMS ones come apart.
