I just devirginized both of the governors on my vino. I used a chizzel to remove the governor on the egsaust and had no trouble removing the washer out of the variator. I broke off few fins of the variator, I hope that aint a problem. I put it all together, and the fraking kingstart keeps shaking and thus "kicking" making bunch of grinding noises, so I dont have a kickstart no more because of this. Has anybody had a similar problem. I was messing with that washer with those two holes (dont ask why). I also replaced transmition oil. I was almost out of it :)

I am getting 45mph on it at this moment, and I can tell you it is scarry :)

Am I expecting half-a-life of a normal engine without governor?

BTW: I am on 6 month probation for running a stopsign, and didnt have to pay a fine or nothing. I just gotta be nice for 6months. ;)

Next:
-- Vino Budy Seat
-- New Shock
-- 85 cc Cyl.
-- 19mm Carb.
-- New Tires

One more thing,
I was wondering why you cant have two people on Vino.
Its not like it cant handle it.

Is it because of the rear shock only?
Or it is because there is no room for the passanger?
Both?
Plenty of 49cc scooters are passanger friendly, so I was wondering how come Vino is not.. Ground Clearance, etc?

Do I need new tires and shock to have a passanger ride? Or Shock is plenty?

There should not be very much oil in the tranny... it's supposed to have .11 of a quart (at least the zuma is supposed to and the vino engine is almost identical set up)....

With your kickstart not working... Place the washer between the finned pulley and the kickstart gear... It's probably not kicking out all the way and grabbing the gear...

Let us know what happens with that kickstart... It's not right... recheck the parts of how they are installed... Something is out of place...

My kickstart was making some noice too.
I'll try a new washer and check the install order. I might be missing a washer from the previous owner.
Thanks
