Just wanted to know what size tires seem to work well on the Vino Classic.
stock is 80/90-10 I think.
Do 100/90-13 fit?
What size tires are people running?
Thanks

Biggest rear is the Pirelli SL38 100/80-10, the front tire on a Vespa ET2. It is actually 94 mm (3.7") wide (not 80 mm as designated). The stock front is the largest one (3.2" wide) that will fit without issues, as far as I can determine. -G

it seems like everybody is running either the michelin s1 or the pirelli sl, and the sizer are 3.00 front and 3.00 or 3.50 rear

90/90-10 are stock on 06 vino classic's....
88.5mm wide....
I have 10.5mm clearance from the side of the tire to the shock housings....
I'm thinking that there shouldn't be a problem for a 100/90-10, a 110/90-10 or maybe even a 120/90-10.
I was worried that the ride of this scooter was a little unstable at speed until I checked the air pressure and found that both front and rear pressures were greater than 10 psi more than they were supposed to be.
Explains the bounce at speed.
Adjusted it to where it's supposed to be and the ride is MUCH better.

Can you give me the name and model of the tire? At 3.48" it is about a quarter inch wider than the stock 80/90 on the pre-06 models. Is there any increased front fender clearance in '06? Thanks -G

Mine came with Kenda K348A 90/90-10 50J tires.
Plenty of clearence in the front....Approx. 3/4 inch in the rear.

i guess we can upgrade to 110/90 on our 06 vino's with out many issues, i am just afraid that the center stand might be to low if we add 110's front and rear
maybe 100/90 frotn and 110/rear should be a good enough compromise

I am always under the impression that 90/90 = 3.5.

I found prices online that 3.5x10 = $36 while 90/90 is only $29 ... that 24% cheaper !

How close is 3.0x10 to 80/90 ?
