Seems like I walked into popup ad hell lately here...

30 new post and 29 are for Provo products. I am 110% behind Elrich and so on- not crying.

Just was nice to be able to come here to learn about scooters, not pitched on each thread to buy some thing.

My suggestion is to then stay clear of the Rider Reviews and Product Forum! Trying to keep in mind that this is afterall the forums for www.Provoscooter.com which is an online store for scooter parts!

I love the new rider review section!!! But it's kinda like you just copied and pasted from the sales site. I was hoping for some in depth info. Like the finned pully for example, is it really much better than a stock finned pully? I doubt it, it's more of a replacement part. Thats the stuff I wanna know. But don't get me wrong, I like the new section!!!

Exactly what I did, LOL. The reason was two fold, one was to pump traffic in to the new forum and the second was to pump more advertising and money in to Erich's pocket. Remember all this bandwidth and message boards cost money, and as we get more members on here it's going to get more and more expensive to run. My Nikon board I'm a member on has 15000 registered members, averages 8000 posts a day plus the lamers. Bo and JRP are spending close to 100k a year for bandwidth alone not to mention the cost of the servers to boot. ARSTechnica spends in the 7 digit range per year! I don't even want to get into what it costs us over at my part time (which I'm about to go full time at at the end of the month on third shift!) job at Marriott International HQ per year, and that's all we do there! I know we lose 50 million an hour if we go down!

Trust me I know it cost tons of $$ to run these things and really, really hope Elrich gets some revenue out of his efforts.

Just felt like I walked into a yard sale rather than a message board. I go to "New Post" when I log in and check out every thing going on and almost all the post were sales pitches.

Yeah I don't too often post like that but I needed to jump start the new forum. I'm going to split this thread off to the website forum to keep things back on topic.

I vote to just delete this thread....

I know you don't like the big "D" word- HAHAHA but really has run it's course.

Since there is a good bit of info on this thread about the plugs, board costs, I'm just going to close the thread rather than soft deleting it.
