what the heck?
I'm re-jetting my Mikuni carb.
I've looked everywhere I can think of.
All the sites talk about raising the fuel needle to make the carb richer
and lower to lean, but my question is which way is raise and lower?
It would seem like lower would be to move the circlip down towards the "sharp needle" end of the fuel needle. Is this correct? Or the opposite?

Who can help me out here?
circlip moved a stage down toward the "needlelike end" = ??????
circlip moved a stage toward the "flat thick end" = ???????

I feel like pullin out the old Jimi Hendrix albums... If 6 was 9!!!!!

okay your instructions confused me....

He's how it works...

The clip come in the middle notch on the needle... if you put the clip on the top (butt end) of the needle... Now this will drop the needle (1 notch worth) into the carb... thinning the mixture...

If you were to place the clip on the bottom notch (towards the point) then you would richen the needle by making it lift higher out of the carb....

Hope this helps...
