Okay, I am wondering what the best scooter tires are? I've heard rumor and such even on here that there are only a couple manufacturer of scooter size tires...
IE: the zuma takes a 120/90-10 (front), and a 130/90-10 (rear)...
I'm wondering what is available... I see Erich has a street tire and a upgraded quality stock style tire available... Not bad price of $39.00 each tire...
However I'm just wondering what options are out there?
I had a SVT Focus, which is a hi-performance 4 banger... It had conti-sport performance tires... (the car was bought back by ford....) anyway I also have a regular zx3 power premium (top of the model)... The tires are regular type of tires...
Now the difference between the cars is that I could take a recommended 30mph corner at 75mph with the SVT model and can take it at about 50mph in the zx3. Now... I agree that at least 1/2 of that was accounted for with the better suspension... However I know that a portion of it was due to the STICKY PERFORMANCE TIRES....
Now what I'm wondering is... Are there performance tires out there for scooter that will do the same? Something that will Stick to the road?
Here is an example... with my svt... I could do a power drop (5000 rpm's and dump the clutch) and light the tires up for about 50 feet... Now with the stock tires from my zx3... I could do the same and smoke them till I let off the gas pedal... Which was a total testiment of the quality and traction of the tires...
I want the same thing... I want the tires I ride on to be glued to the road...
So with that being said... Where can I get 130/90-10 and 120/90-10 tires?
I found this site, but with them not shipping out of the 48 states, and telling me to piss off when I asked why they wouldn't ship out of the conti US... Anywhere else that you guys seen tires? I'm looking into doing some research so I can get the perfect tire when the time comes...
