Hey guys! I have a couple of q's and a story.

1. The other day, I pulled in with my Zuma after work and discovered my fender pushed in and bent. (the bottom section) I have a few theorys on what happened... Either a Car hit it, or most likely, some kid came along and kicked the fender.   And also my parents won't let me shave my tail now, saying "It's Illegal" (No, it isn't) , "you'll kick up dirt at yourself" (dirt can't fly in the opposite direction it is thrown...), and " Your not going to chop up a brand new bike and ruin it's value" (Uh... If anything it adds to the value and it's my bike...). Anyway, getting on... How much does a replancement fender section cost?

2. I was wondering if the pictures of the Coil inclosed would fit the bugeye Zuma, and if so, what sort of improvement would it give?

Technically it is illegal to mod DOT lights. And without a rear fender, you will get road spray all over you if the road is a lil wet. The fender is only $14 from the yamaha dealer.

That coil will fit. There will be no improvement

you can do the rear light mod, just find a way to get the rear fender on, or u will get wet.
my dad first thought it was a bad idea too, but when i was done, we both thought it looked great.
illegal? in canada it seems that if ur on a scooter, ur invisible to cops. i drove with three ppl on my scooter once (me and 2 cousins). i was wearing a full face helmet, while my cousins were wearing baseball helmets. 2 different cops saw me and they just laughed.
i dont know what its like were u live, but im sure no pigs will give u trouble. take ur time and make the mod look clean, and the cop will just think that the scooter came that way

edit: looking at ur signature, it seems u live in canada lol. nothing is illegal here :smokin:
weres lethbridge?

Lethbridge is in Southern Alberta.

Sweet! I thought the fender would be more expensive than that...

1. I think he means the new optics of R3flexe,
2. and I don't think ppl in lethbridge care about the scooter, anything is ok, I guess.
3. Spark plug coil gives no improvement, as I learn from others, except it lighten your wallet.
4. I am from BC, eh!?

LOL I'm in New Brunswick! SWEET Canadian scooterists all the way:P Yea actually if you read my signature it talks about all the light mods I have, I was sitting at a stop sign at night time in town with ALL lights flashing, strobing and all in all turned on and they just looked at me and drove by. So much for neons being illegal, the lights I have on the scoot is deffinetly more illegal than any neon car lights:P yea to cops scooters are invisble:P

In North Carolina cops are like kids with a magnifying glass and an ant farm. If they think they can hassle you they will.

Woot Woot another Canadian here, Halifax Nova Scotia in the hisous! :yippy:
So far cops here are pretty easy with scooters....I rode mine with no plate for a few days, and no current MVI. Though from my experience with my CBR MVIs are gettin more strict, I had to install a plate light on my bike just a few days ago to get an MVI when last year the same dealership let it pass the way it was without a light...
