I have question regarding installing the belt in the rear pulley, when I put the stoclk belt in the rear pulley, I will squeeze the rear pulley open, and push the belt in between them. in my case, the belt will stay in between the rear halves for days without poping out (even with the yellow malossi torque spring). I try install the kevlar before, and the belt will pop out in seconds. Is that normal?

I have trouble with getting back to low gear. If my rear pulley is not functioning normally, what can i do? Do I need a new aftermarket rear torque driver?

Thanks

Frankie

it sounds like you left the stock torque spring in there...

That is the one that is about 3 inches long (stock) and about 6 inches long with the variator kit from provo... You need to install the large torque spring into the clutch when you upgrade... If not then the pulley will not close when slowing down causing the belt to say halfway down the pulley and being stuck in a high gear...

The piece I'm talking about is the one that goes between the pulley and the clutch (and is held in place by the clutch and nut)...
