where did you find that tranny cover, and how much?

I have seen clear ones, but none like that with cooling built in.

dont just get malossi get MHR parts form them. the reg dont perform that well, MHR 2000 mult variator MHR 70cc kit, Malossi MHR 19mm carb, MHR torque driver, MHR Delta Clutch or Polini Speed 2g clutch,
Malossi MHR Team Cranks if wanted to updat crank thats about the best.

i would sugjest polini worst to the malossi worst but the best is malossi MHR it beats the junk out of Polini EVO racing parts

I been looking at parts for my zuma since I bought it I think I read 200 web pages and every forum on here atleast 4 times or more.

Now as to why I did not choose the MHR stuff right off the bat is cause I do not like rebuilding my motor every couple hundred miles and I drive my zuma everywhere now if I got all the MHR stuff it would not last very long and more then likly break on me which I do not want as far as performance is concerned there is not really a diffrence other then one has better heat disapation and maybe the MHR might have a hair more pull at take off which would not matter anyways cause if my calculations are right when I install those parts I technically should be able to pull a wheelie off the start if not I will for sure be able to while moving.

BTW Jered I am in on the Race to 60mph hehe :D

Angelfire.... I like the list of parts you posted...

BTW: yes Erich can get any and all Malossi parts as he is a Malossi dealer... Email his exactly what you want and he can get you quotes on the parts...

With that list you have above... you'll get to 60mph before I do... Ho hum...

I've heard that the LeoVinci ZX pipe is not the best for the high RPM engines... I'd recommend getting a Malossi Race pipe... That will allow the engine to spin at higher RPM's.... Getting a higher top speed as well as being able to push the upgear kit better!

I will be getting one of the trany covers soon thought! Thanks for posting that! It's the answer a lot of us have been searching for!

no that's a mith MHR parts last just as long. the kits that dont last long are cheap DR cylinders and ther are a few top performance cylinder that will melt down after ride in a week of 75 temp out side.

MHR kits arn't good.... THER GREAT!. i have a full MHR kit on my zuma and i always run WOT, i have 800miles on it and puts out 22horse power and runs like a camp! the only thing that can beat me here is stroker honda elites

Ya Jered I bought the zuma and had them put the pipe on while they werre building it only because it happened to be in stock and I figured what the hell why not but yes I just acually got done looking at the malossi pipe they just came out with also looking at the flow charts on diffrent pipes and the types of expanshion chambers they had seems Malossi had the best flow and power curve how ever the zx pipe was acually did not look to bad I was rather impressed.

As far as MHR part I sopose all this stuff is cheap OK Zuma 88 I will go Full out MHR stuff but if I blow up hehe I am taking your zuma lol :D I will have to e-mail him so I can get a qute on all this **** cause I will be getting it all at once no ****ing around here cause it is either WOT or stop thats way I drive.

Oh Zuma88 and anyonelse with zumas are you Able to lift the front off the ground or wheelie and acually hold it and if you don't have good balance hehe would you be able to hold it if you could balance ? if you can let me know what year zuma you have cause I know the older ones were super easy to wheelie new ones seem to be harder I guess.

BTW: Jered let me know if you can get that cover through here or where eles you can get it thanks

Anglefire i have a 2000 zuma that wheelies very easy. i have race parts on my bike, i just need a race crank to be complete.
Zuma i am still waiting on that info on the 48mm 22h.p. mhr cylinder. like i said before i got the 47mm mhr and i doesnt make 22h.p. and if theres something out there newer than what i got i would like to know so i can get with the program. i checked out all of the euro sites and i cannot find nothing on the cylinder you got. also what is your complete set up anyways. oh yeah Zuma where do you live that you see honda strokers. i have one and honda strokers are super nuts bikes.

Can you tell me the part numbers for the 70cc kit and the variator? Where did you get it? I've been looking at the Malossi web site and I can't figure out which kit is the right one for my '03 Zuma.
Thanks for your help, REV

I have all ready stated i had it ported and polished, it all depends and what pipe you use all so and how good of a carb, you can get a 19mm carb and thats fine but if you where to go with lets say a 19mm flat side or so on will up your horse power.
48mm me sir didn't say that i said 47.8 and am talking about pre 2002 zuma, the new zuma's can be converted to water cooled and will put out 18-20 horse power easy

If there are parts you need and we don't have them listed on the site please email Erich (sales@provoscooter.com) since he has a lot of stuff that's not on the site.

sorry bout that, i thought you said you had a 72cc kit. the malossi race bore is a 47mm and that makes the bike a 68cc. when i get my top performance 40.2mm crank that will bring my bike to a complete 70cc. did someone bore out your cuylinder to make it a 47.8. also what pipe are you using on your bike. i have a website with some watercooled pre 2002 zumas.

where do i buy that tranny cover what website i would really like to know thanks emailme at "Personal message" or post on the website

Angelfire
10-27-2004, 07:31 PM
That Tranny cover I found out is not for the damn zuma but not to worry I am almost done with a tranny cover that is about 5 times better then that and will be marketing them I hope soon.

rydah

those tranny covers are for the real older minarelli motors made in japan and europe. if your bike has the same trans as the older zuma then it should fit. my 2000 can fit that cover.
