Hey I was just curious if anyone had tips for someone wanting to attempt to build their own exhaust. I have a 96 jog and I used to be pretty handy at manipulating metal so I was considering building my own pipe. anyone have any idea how I can accomplish this and what I would need. I am confident in my ability to do the welds and the bends but I really have no idea what is on the inside.

there is nothing on the inside of a chamber pipe. do some searches on line to find out how to build a pipe.

I can say that you won't find info on this site as no one has really done it yet...
I chop job one but that's not really building it from scratch... it was more of making 2 pipes into 1...

You need to buy A.G. Bell's Guide to Two Stroke Tuning. They have an entire chapter on pipe building. Lots of theory etc. Very very complicated. Best bet would be get a pipe and copy it. In the end you'll have spent less money just buying that pipe though.
