While looking around for wheel axles, I found several sites
that sell motorcycle bolt kits, mostly titanium to reduce weight.

Well, here's a set of bolts I would love to replace: the transmission
cover bolts. If provo could come up with a replacement for the phillips
head bolts, go with something that won't get chewed up, like hex
head... maybe aluminum with a gold, red, or blue color, I'd be the
first customer.

correction, I meant allen head replacement, not hex.

Same thing. Hexagonal is 6 sided, like the socket in an allen head bolt.

just a note, there are people who sell these bolt kits (chrome finish only) on ebay all the time for about $10 plus shipping...
