Hi Everyone
If any of you have not been following I am trying to convert my little coffee shop into a scooter cafe. :)
I found a brand new moped (generic/clone vino) for $950 here. I HATE :( to do this to even a generic scooter (esp brand new) but I plan to strip it and mount it near my sign above my shop. (for attention and hopefully to draw customers in)
I was wondering what color you think I should paint it? Its silver now but I know that and white is not going to gain any attention to get people to stop and check it out.
I was going to go red like this:

But also want that "classic" scooter look and feel like this:

My delima is that I dont want to be/look like a full on "RACER" store since my coffee customer base is women and that may deter them from comming by, but I want a more "cute" fun scooter lifestyle associated with my shop. The problem with this is that I still need the attention of a good bright color without it being to "racer-ish" or "girl-ie".
What I need is a classic retro look/color scheme that appeals to both? People wanting to buy scooter parts, but women still think its cute.
I hope this makes sense. There has to be a attention getting-retro yet cute color and scheme for Vinos somewhere?
For example a PINK scooter may draw attention and appeal to women but I doubt many of the guy scooter-ists are going to take my scooter side of the shop seriously.

Then the RED racer scooter might attract the guys, but the women(non scooter-ist) may just assume its for guys and thier scooter parts.

Any suggestions on a good overall color and paint scheme would be appreciated!
Thanks!
