when i start up my zip sometimes it will not rev up and it dies. It's like it's flooded but then it will start to run better. Then i can ride it.
It only has 70 miles on it and went threw 3 tanks of gas.

I would start in the carb. Maybe a sticky float. Something is not right. You should get 70 or more out of 1 tank. When you fill it, how much goes in? 1.3-1.4 gal?

Or it could be as simple as an adjustment on the screw/s?

Keep us posted.....

ditto... I was going to post the same thing... I'd check your plug... make sure it's not wet... Adjust the carb till it's the correct color...

Also, the idea of checking the float... Good one... Never hurts... start with the most simple and work your way up... Why try the hard stuff 1st! you know!

A Generator Installed!!! A reguler bike generator that you find in the bike shop installed the little wheel gear on top of the Tire when tire turns generates Power to the Battery keeps it charged!!! depending on which model..electricity Direct to the battery.. hopefully it will keep some charge into Battery just amount to keep lights and starter going!!

chocolate? thats the correct color... now is that an idle reading? or has it been ran lately? You should do a read after a couple minutes of idle, then check it...

Couple of minutes of 1/2 then check color..

Then WOT, and check color... if all are choco colored the carb is tuned right...

idle if not correct color then adjust your air/fuel mix
1/2 is incorrect, move needle...

WOT, change JET...
